Training department announces new IR/Level 1 Thermography class

Saber Power’s training department announced a new Level I Certified Infrared Thermographer® four-day course for the application of qualitative thermal imaging for P/PM, Condition Assessment, Condition Monitoring, Quality Assurance, Forensic Investigations, and Building Sciences.

The first class is December 2-5, 2024. Additional 2025 classes will be announced soon.

Attendees will learn infrared theory, heat transfer concepts, equipment operation and selection, standards compliance, image analysis, and report generation. The course is eligible for 35 NETA Continuing Technical Development Credits (CTDs). Approved by the InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors for 32 hours of continuing education; meets the training requirements for their Infrared Certified professional designation and logo. It is also approved for 32 Continuing Education Hours (CEH) by the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC).

Our instructor, Norbert Trimmer, is a Level III Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® and a NETA Level 2 Certified Assistant Technician. Norbert has over 10 years of experience in electrical testing and maintenance. In addition, he has extensive experience in thermographic inspections of medium and high voltage electrical equipment.
